The Namibian Ports Authority, NamPort, will contribute half-a-million dollars towards the hosting of this year’s Namport-Erongo Business and Tourism Expo. The event is to promote trade and businesses at the coastal town, the Erongo region and beyond. NamPort’s Chief Executive Officer, Bisey /Uirab, launched the expo at Walvis Bay yesterday (wed). /Uirab explained that the region offers opportunities and natural resources that can be explored and fully enjoyed by its people through innovative thinking. He said in the spirit of the Hambee Prosperity Plan, the Small and Medium Enterprises, SMEs can engage with the fully fledged business community and learn from their experience. The NamPort CEO gave the assurance that the state-owned enterprise would continue to sponsor the business and tourism expo as it had done since 2011. The NamPort Erongo Business and Tourism Expo takes place from 26th to 29th October under the theme – Cultivating Business For The Future.
