Various community-based organisations at Okakarara in the Otjozondjupa Region have received 303 second-hand computers and printers from a charity organisation in Germany. Nampa reports that the Director of Charity Network, Walter Zielinski, donated the equipment valued at 720 000 Namibia dollars to Okakarara Constituency Councillor Vetaruhe Kandorozu. The councillor then distributed it to 37 community, youth and co-operative organisations in the constituency. Zielinski says the computers are equipped with the latest software and antivirus programmes, are in a good condition and may last for ten years. He will assist in assembling and connecting the computer systems at different settlements where they have been allocated around the constituency. Most beneficiaries are based at Okakarara, Coblenz, Okondjatu, Okamatapati, Okatjoruu and Ohorongombaranga village.
