President Geingob says the upholding of democratic principles and accountability in Namibia is not done to impress the western countries as perceived, but to complement progressive economic policies aimed at closing the inequality gap and tackling poverty. He said this during a public lecture at Harvard Kennedy School in Boston, USA.
