Two men died instantly in two separate accidents in the Zambezi region over the weekend. A Zambian national was killed when he was ran over by a Toyota sedan at Masokotwani in Sibbinda Constituency. The accident happened on Saturday evening and the deceased, whose age is unknown, was only known as Pelekelo. A 36-year-old unlicensed Namibian male was arrested and charged with culpable homicide and driving a vehicle without a valid drivers licence. The suspect, Cletius Lufu, was expected to appear in court on Monday. In another incident, 55-year-old Ricky Mwilima was bumped and killed on the spot near Wenela border outside Katima Mulilo. His next of kin are informed. A 48-year-old Zimbabwean national living at Katima Mulilo, Norest Sangana, was arrested in connection with the incident and appeared in court on Monday. He was granted bail of five-thousand dollars.
