Finance Minister Calle Schlettwein is calling for the ratification of an additional annexure to the Southern African Customs Union Agreement which provides for the voluntary exchange of import and export data. The additional annexure is meant to provide member states with the legal basis to afford each other mutual administration assistance in enforcing customs laws.
