The City of Windhoek has announced the appointment of its new Chief Executive Officer. At a media briefing on Monday, Corporate Communications manager Joshua Amukongo said Robert Kahimise will lead the Council as of February 2017. Kahimise now wraps up his job as Chief Executive Officer of the Erongo Regional Electricity Distributor, where he has served since July 2013. The City has been without a CEO since December 2014, after Niilo Taapopi’s eleven year long term came to an end.
