The Mayor of Windhoek, Muesee Kazapua and Junior Mayor Dawie Fourie switched on the City Christmas lights along Independence Avenue this week. The switching on of these lights has become a significant occasion in Windhoek and is done annually to mark the start of the Festive Season.
