The road safety campaign has been strengthened with a donation of ten new hand-held breathalysers valued at more than N$87 000. The new devices are able to detect alcohol volume from a distance, an advance that makes it unnecessary for law enforcement officials to require suspects to blow into them for a reading. Another unique feature on the new breathalysers is the ability to print out the results of the test on the go.
