The Embassy of Algeria in Namibia hosted an event to celebrate that country’s 71st anniversary, marking the historic revolution of November 1, 1954.

This revolution is a defining chapter in Algeria’s struggle for independence and human dignity.

Algeria’s Ambassador to Namibia, Abdelkrim Diaf, stated that it was a long and difficult path paved with great sacrifice, and the legacy is the moral compass of their nation.

In addition, Diaf stated that their connection with Namibia is not merely diplomatic; it is organic and rooted in shared ideals. 

The Minister of International Relations and Trade, Selma Ashipala-Musayavi, stated that. Algeria provided invaluable political, diplomatic and material support to the Namibians during their fight against apartheid.
