The City of Windhoek’s Mayor, Job Amupanda has appealed to the management of the City Police to acknowledge the hard work of women and men in uniform. He said this during the celebration of the Windhoek City Police’s 15th anniversary in the serving of the community Dr Amupanda said the City Police’s achievements are much worth celebrating and these men and women have shown commitment to protecting the lives and property of the residents. The Head of the City Police, Chief Abraham Kanime, noted there is a clear indication in the reduction of crime in the city because of the presence of officers on the streets. Different speakers hailed NBC’s programme ‘On The Street’ amongst others.
