The Chief Executive Officer of the Okahandja Municipality, Martha Mutilifa was suspended last month on allegations of fraud, corruption, abuse of funds and insubordination. The Chairperson of the Management Committee Gideon Uwu-Khaeb in a letter informed Mutilifa that the council took a decision to suspend her, in order to allow for unhindered investigations.
