Namibia has the potential to become an independent electricity producer for its domestic needs, by harnessing energy from the sun and wind says a top British diplomat. Andrew Stephenson says the abundance of sun and wind, could become potential areas of discussion between Namibia and his country, during the UK-Africa Investment Conference planned for this month in London. Stephenson was in Namibia on a two-day official visit.
