Affirmative Repositioning (AR) activist Job Amupanda has declared that they will commemorate the 1904-08 Nama and OvaHerero Genocide, the first genocide of the 20th century, on 2 October every year. This follows a consultative meeting between AR activists and Ombara Otjitambi of the OvaHerero Traditional Authority, Vekuii Rukoro, on Tuesday.
