Finance Minister, Calle Schlettwein says the total debt is on the increase and has now reached 52% of the gross domestic product (GDP), from 49%, the previous year. Addressing staff of his Ministry, Schlettwein said 2019 was a tough year in terms of the country’s economic performance compared to that of 2018.
