Von Bach Dam became the first to have its sluices opened this morning after the dam level reached 100% capacity. Most parts of Namibia received above-normal rainfall over the past couple of days. However, while this is a welcome drop too many, after a prolonged drought, the rain has caused damage to homes and infrastructure country-wide.
