The instructing lawyers representing the accused persons in the ongoing fishing quota corruption scandal, involving Icelandic company Samherji, has come out guns blazing against the Anti-Corruption Commission’s (ACC) top brass, accusing them of flouting the rule of law and abuse of power. This comes after the ACC served Tembeka Ngcukaitobi, the defence lawyer in the case, with summons to explain a N$50 000 payment into his account by Fishcor in 2018.
