The Southern African Customs Union (SACU) is ready for the implementation of the Africa Continental Free Trade Area (ACFTA) and the exit of Britain from the European Union (EU). The oldest customs union consisting of Namibia, South Africa, Lesotho, Eswatini and Botswana is to facilitate equitable sharing of income on customs and excise duty on goods entering the common monetary area.
