The lifeless body of a 57-year-old man, identified as Joseph Japhet, was discovered in a hut with a rope around his neck at Ondangwa on Sunday. According to a statement by the Namibian Police Force on Monday, no suicide note was found, the next of kin of the deceased are informed and police investigations continue. In Rehoboth, four males aged 27, 32, 44 and 59 years were arrested on Saturday when they were allegedly found in possession of 90 grams of cannabis at around 22h00 in Block E after a police search. According to the statement, the cannabis is valued at N$4 500. Meanwhile, a 45-year-old woman and 36-year-old man were arrested on Friday at about 21h20 for dealing in cannabis and Mandrax at Arandis. The two were arrested after they allegedly sold 16 full, three halves and five quarters of Mandrax tablets and 10 grams of cannabis to an undercover police officer. The drugs are valued at N$2 750 and police investigations continue. -NAMPA
