Ill-discipline and complete disregard for the COVID-19 state of emergency have been identified as among some of the challenges in fighting the spread of the virus at Mariental in the Hardap Region. Since the state of emergency was declared, authorities at Mariental recorded or observed incidences where some people instigate the communities to defy the regulations.
