Police Chief Inspector Lieutenant-General Sebastian Ndeitunga has urged members of the police force to respect human rights and refrain from unnecessarily assaulting and manhandling of suspects unless in self-defence. He raised his concerns during a patrol he undertook with other service chiefs in the capital. Ndeitunga further called on the public to refrain from opening malicious cases against members of the force and to abide by the State of Emergency Regulations.
