At least two minors were raped in the Omusati Region over the weekend. It is alleged, during this year, a 38-year-old man raped his 14-year-old niece, on several occasions. As a result of the alleged sexual assault, the girl has since fallen pregnant. The man appeared in the Okahao Magistrate’s Court today with the case postponed to 12 May 2020. The incident occurred at the Tsandi Constituency. At Odimbwa, on Friday, a six-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her 19-year-old cousin. The two reside at the same house. The suspects appeared in front of the Outapi Magistrate’s Court today, with the case postponed to 12 May.
