A memorandum of understanding penned by the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Namibia and the Oniipa Town Council is expected to boost the newly proclaimed town’s development. Being one of the oldest settlements in northern Namibia, the recent upgrading of Oniipa from a settlement to a town has come with great expectations from the town’s residents and visitors alike.
