The increase of the Namibian Agronomic Board’s horticulture market share promotion scheme will come into force next month. The scheme allows traders to source a minimum percentage of local produce before an import permit is issued in a bid to control horticultural products beyond Namibia’s borders. The Namibian Agronomic Board at its meeting on 3 August approved the three percentage points increase of the Market Share Promotion from 44% to 47%.
