All school will re-open on 20 April to be in conformity with the state of emergency regulations. The announcement was made by the Minister of Education, Arts and Culture Anna Nghipondoka during the COVID-19 discussion programme on NBC1. Nghipondoka says schools are officially on the first term holiday, that was supposed to start on 17 April.
