Namibia’s current ambassador to Angola, Grace Uushona has been appointed as Permanent Secretary to the Presidency. The Presidency made the announcement on Monday. Uushona’s appointment is effective from 1 December to May 2021. She will replace Samuel /Goagoseb, who is tipped to take up an ambassadorial assignment. Uushona served in a number of positions in the public service, including the Governor of Otjozondjupa and Ambassador to Cuba. President Hage Geingob wished her success in executing her new responsibilities.
