Affirmative Repositioning (AR) activist Dimbulukeni Nauyoma has been released on bail of N$500. Nauyoma is accused of obstructing police work when he protested the demolition of a house in Windhoek’s Okuryangava location Friday. Nauyoma spend some time in hospital over the weekend after allegedly sustaining injuries after his arrest. Magistrate Atutale Namwenyo Shikalepo granted him bail on condition that he does not interfere with police investigations and that he does not commit a similar offense. Lawyer Kadhila Aamomo stood in for the defendant while Pieter Smit argued for the state.
