Banco Nacional de Angola has finally settled its outstanding debt to the Bank of Namibia (BoN), with the last payment of US$51,1 million equal to N$715 million made on 22 June this year. The debt originated from the implementation of the Currency Conversion Agreement (CCA) which came into force on 18 June 2015, this agreement was hailed as a significant step in smoothing trade activities at the border towns of Oshikango in Namibia and Santa Clara in Angola.
