Benetus Nangombe was appointed Permanent Secretary (PS) of the Ministry of Health and Social Services, effective from 1 August, on a five year contract. The Office of the Prime Minister announced the appointment on Friday through a statement to the media. Nangombe, who is the Deputy Permanent Secretary for Research and Public Liaison at Office of the President, replaces Andreas Mwoombola who was appointed to the Office of the Prime Minister in December 2017. Petronella Masabane acted as PS from December 2017.
