Bulk electricity tariff remains unchanged at one dollar- 65 cents per kilowatt-hour. The tariff is applicable to NamPower, regional electricity distributors, local and regional authorities as well as mines. In a statement, the Electricity Control Board says the decision is meant to mitigate the impact on consumers and the economy, especially now that the economy is struggling. Tariff adjustment is effective from 1 July.
