Cabinet has approved Total Allowable Catches (TAC) for hake and lobster for the 2019-2020 fishing season which commences tomorrow. TAC allocation for hake is 154 000 metric tonnes. Making the announcement at a media conference ICT Minister, Stanley Simataa made it clear that the announcement should not be confused with the pending applications for fishing rights.
