Ministry of Health and Social Services (MoHSS) confirmed a third case of COVID-19. A 61-year-old German citizen, who arrived in Namibia on 13 March, remains in isolation and is in stable condition. The MoHSS said it is actively following up with all contacts of this person to ensure proper quarantine and monitoring for symptoms.

Deputy Minister of Works and Transport James Sankwasa has advised local contractors to enter into joint ventures with established companies when tendering for big Government projects. Sankwasa noted that many Government projects remain uncompleted due to a lack of capacity by some local construction companies.
