FAO launches N$9 million agriculture scheme to assist drought affected farmers

More than 3 000 farming households in seven drought-affected regions are expected to benefit from supplementary fodder and veterinary medicine worth more than N$9 million. The assistance will be provided through the mobilisation of funds from the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO) titled, Emergency Livelihoods, Support to Drought-affected Communities in Namibia.
