The Deputy Minister of Urban and Rural Development, Derek Klazen has handed over 63 houses to beneficiaries at Okongo in the Ohangwena Region. The houses are part of the Shack Dweller Federation programme jointly funded by the Ministry of Urban and Rural Development and Standard Bank.
About N$8 million dollars is still needed to complete a kitchen unit at Etunda Farm School outside Otavi. The school is part of a 2017 project started by Founding President Sam Nujoma at Farm Etunda in the Otjozondjupa Region.
The 39th Ordinary Summit of SADC Heads of State and Government has elected Zimbabwean President, Emmerson Mnangagwa as the Chairperson of the Organ on Politics, Defence and Security Cooperation.
