DROUGHT | Outapi farmer grows sorghum to feed his cattle

High cost of animal feed has led to a young farmer from Outapi in the Omusati Region planting sorghum for his cattle’s survival. David Natangwe started with dairy farming. However, feeding the animals was a struggle due to severe drought as a bale of dried fodder could cost N$950.

Whites still occupy the majority of top management positions of more than 270 000 employees accounted in terms of Affirmative Action. According to the Namibian Employment Equity Report persons with disabilities only accounts for 0,4% while 46% of the workforce are women. None Namibians only represent one percent.
