City to write off pensioners’ municipal debts
The City of Windhoek will write off all debt owed by pensioners. Currently, residents and businesses owe the municipality N$642 million of which N$191 million is owed by pensioners.

The Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration will soon introduce a law to have a uniform marital property regime for all Namibians. This will repeal the Native Administration Proclamation Act of 1928, which had two separate marital regimes considered to be discriminatory.
