More than 40 000 students have enrolled for the 2018 academic year with the Namibia Open College of Learning (Namcol). Many were in a last minute rush to register for the 2018 final examinations. Registration ended on Wednesday.

Ohangwena police confiscate items worth N$300 000 smuggled into the country

Police in the Ohangwena Region have confiscated items smuggled into the country through ungazetted entry points, on the Angola-Namibia border. The items, estimated at N$300 000, include 12 motor vehicles, 23 bicycles, 18 motorcycles, containers of Angolan petrol, clothing, food items, cement and alcoholic beverages.
