The Office of the President has launched the general San community registration programme in the Ohangwena Region. The programme is aimed at registering and de-registering San communities to ensure they all have identification documents.
The Ministry of Veterans Affairs has so far funded more than 11 000 individual veterans projects with some regarded as great successes. The Deputy Minister of Veterans Affairs, Hilma Nicanor visited some of the projects in Windhoek.
The Green Scheme project plans to increase maize production at irrigation farms to counter the shortfall that may result from an outbreak of Fall Armyworms at Etunda.
