The Prime Minister says the Government will continue with fiscal consolidation as a way of fixing Namibia’s current economic situation. Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila made the remark on ‘Prime Minister’s Question Time’ recently.

A 26-year-old man, Unaaro Mbemukenga, who confessed to killing Manfred Karl Hartmann at Swakopmund remains in police custody. Mbemukenga made his second appearance in the Swakopmund Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 13 November 2017 but his case was postponed to the 5 February 2018 for further police investigation.
