NAMCOL unveils Nahas Angula Hall

The Namibia College of Open Learning, NAMCOL, has unveiled a new building called the ‘Nahas Angula Hall’ worth 47 million dollars, at its headquarters in Katutura’s Soweto suburb. Prime Minister Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila inaugurated the new state-of-the-art building on behalf of President Hage Geingob.

UNAM researchers underfunded

The University of Namibia’s Acting Pro-Vice Chancellor for Research, Innovation and Development said the country’s economic downturn has negatively affected the number of research and innovation projects undertaken at the university. Dr Hileni Kapenda was speaking at the 5th annual UNAM research innovation day held at the Sam Nujoma Campus in Henties Bay on Wednesday.
