The Ministry of Health’s Directorate of Special Programmes has kicked off its ‘Smart Generation Campaign’ on a positive note. The campaign, which is being taken to eight of the 14 regions, aims to increase the uptake of HIV testing service among young people.
The case of a Henties Bay resident, Jandre de Klerk, accused of multiple rapes and murder of a minor, started in the Windhoek High Court on Monday.
A murder accused has confessed of having killed an elderly person in Swakopmund last month. Appearing in the Magistrate’s Court on Monday, Unaaro Mbemukenga admitted that he was guilty of the brutal killing of the 78-year old Manfred Karl Hartmann.
