The Minister of Finance has urged public servants and those employed by government agencies not to use budget cuts as an excuse for poor service delivery. Minister Calle Schlettwein briefed his staff on progress made by the ministry, challenges and the way forward.

The Ohangwena Region faces high levels of poverty, lack of basic services, unemployment among the youth and water shortage especially at Oshikunde, Epembe, Omundaungilo and Okongo constituencies.
