Health Ministry says implementation of pre-exposure treatment a burden on the state

The Ministry of Health and Social Services said changing its anti-retroviral therapy guidelines to accommodate pre-exposure treatment to prevent contraction of the virus for groups at risk of contracting the virus will not be cost effective. One of the risk groups is young people because of the high sexual interaction between them and older men.
