Any one found guilty of smuggling contraband into prisons will be fined or could even face jail time. The Namibian Correctional Services held a public awareness campaign in Windhoek on the danger of smuggling contraband into the prisons.

Civil servants have been urged to make use of the low cost housing initiatives by parastatals to own a decent house.
