The Confederation of Namibia Fishing Associations will challenge the issuing of an environmental clearance certificate for the offshore mining of phosphate near Walvis Bay. It has instructed Lawyer Sisa Namandje to request particular information from the Government and to inform the Namibia Marine Phosphate not to go ahead with the mining.
