The Namibian Broadcasting Corporation and the MTC DOME signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the NBC head office in Windhoek. The Dome is in Swakopmund and serves as the largest indoor sport venue in the country.

The Minister of Health and Social Services, Dr. Kalumbi Shangula dismissed media reports that suggested a single condom was quoted for N$140. Dr Shangula explained that the amount is allocated for a box containing 144 condoms.
