Employees in the retail sector could soon obtain qualifications in the field. Today, the Namibia Training Authority (NTA) and South Africa’s Wholesale and Retail Sector, Education and Training Authority (W), signed a memorandum of understanding that will allow employees to acquire a qualification.

Unemployment among people with disabilities continue to be a cause for concern in Namibia. The Ministry of Disability Affairs and disability organisations are working on ways to create employment for people with disabilities. This sentiment was shared at the commemoration of the International Disability Day in Windhoek.

The Landless People’s Movement’s (LPM) //Kharas Regional Political Action Committee, marched to the Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) offices in Keetmanshoop, demanding for the nullification of the national election results. LPM secured four seats in the National Assembly.
