NSFAF beneficiaries demonstrate against Bank Windhoek’s issuing of bank cards

Namibia Students Financial Assistance Fund (NSFAF) beneficiaries staged a peaceful demonstration in front of Bank Windhoek’s Rundu branch. The students claim that Bank Windhoek’s issuing of bank cards to them takes too long. NSFAF entered into an agreement with Bank Windhoek to process payments for student loan holders’ administrative fees.

NCE receives over N$900 000 from Total Namibia

The Namibia Chamber of Environment (NCE) received more than N$900 000 from Total Nambia, as part of the agreement the company signed with B2 Gold Namibia in 2017. In terms of the agreement, every two cents of every litre of Heavy Fuel Oil sold to B2Gold Namibia by Total was contributed to NCE.

Namibia, China extend bilateral cooperation to health care

Namibia and China are extending their bilateral cooperation to the health care sector. In this regard, China already has its health professionals in Namibia where they are piloting an eye operation project. The Chinese government also donated ambulances and medical supplies to Namibia as part of the cooperation.
