-The Environmental Investment Fund (EIF) is confident Namibia will have strategy and action plan in place by 2030 to mitigate the impact of climate change. Its chief executive officer, Benedict Libanda says the country has created an enabling environment to combat climate change through a series of National Development Goals.

Namibia will develop mechanisms to implement the action plan which was approved at the 32nd Summit of the African Union. The theme for 2019 is ‘Refugees, Returnees and Internally Displaced Persons: Towards Durable Solutions to Forced Displacement in Africa’.

Kasivi Secondary School in the Kavango West will now offer Grade 10. This follows complaints from parents about the long distance that learners have to walk to get to a new school.
