President Hage Geingob has described the situation in the DRC as worrisome with potential for danger if the upcoming elections are not handled carefully. The President participated in a joint SADC, ICGLR summit in Congo Brazzaville Wednesday. The meeting was aimed at discussing the situation in the DRC ahead of the elections on 30 December.
Kavango East Police observed a significant reduction of crime and incidents reported over the christmas period this year. One murder was reported in Sauyemwa on Christmas Day, while another case of culpable homicide was reported at Ndiyona.
