At least 1 200 shacks in the Havana, Agste Laan and Babylon informal settlements will be provided with electricity as of 2017, until July 2018. The Deputy Mayor of the City of Windhoek, Fransina Kahungu, revealed the plan during a community meeting with residents of Hakahana, Havana and Okuryangava over the weekend.
